Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the ForagerIQ mobile application ("App") or visiting forager-iq.com ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use ForagerIQ.

ForagerIQ is a mobile application that provides GPS trip logging, find tracking, heatmap analytics, soil condition data, encrypted spot storage, and social collaboration tools for foragers. The service is provided "as is" and is intended for informational and recreational purposes only.

ForagerIQ is not a substitute for expert knowledge in identifying wild plants, fungi, or other organisms. Never consume any wild food based solely on information from ForagerIQ or any digital tool. Misidentification of wild species can result in serious illness or death. You assume all risk associated with foraging activities.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

ForagerIQ offers paid subscription plans (Season Pass, Annual, and Founding Forager). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to the respective store's terms. Refunds are handled by the platform through which you purchased your subscription.

You retain ownership of content you create in ForagerIQ, including trip logs, photos, and spot data. By using social features, you grant ForagerIQ a limited license to display shared content to other users you have chosen to share with. You may delete your content and account at any time.

You agree not to:

• Use ForagerIQ for any illegal purpose, including trespassing or harvesting in prohibited areas
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Upload malicious content or interfere with the service

ForagerIQ, its logo, and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by ForagerIQ and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForagerIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data arising from your use of the service or any foraging activity.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of ForagerIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
